Preview. These dashboard screens are built, but the service behind them is not live yet, so they do not show your real projects or machines.

Linking a device

Open the Splitterm desktop app on the computer you want to link, and sign in.
Open This machine, and under Work from anywhere press Set up. It needs Pro.
It appears under Devices.

Linking starts from the desktop, so the browser never holds a machine's credentials.

Status

working: A run on it is working on an issue.
idle: Awake with nothing running.
engine paused: Awake, but it takes no work from the dashboard: its runner is off, or Take work sent from anywhere is off on it.
asleep: It has not checked in for about 90 seconds. Asleep wins over anything it last reported.

What runs where

A device belongs to your account, not to a project, so one computer can run work from every project you are in. Open a device to see everything it is carrying, grouped by project.

Staying available

A device only runs work while the desktop app is open and the computer is awake. See Keep it running and A machine is offline or asleep.
